Alison McGill is an award-winning editor, writer, creative producer, media personality and brand strategist. She was editor-in-chief of Weddingbells for two decades, a role that also included serving as editorial director of Weddingbells’ sister publication, Mariage Québec. In May 2021, Alison joined The Kit as a contributor and in-house marriage expert. Alison is a passionate media producer with years of industry experience across multiple platforms: print, digital, television, radio and social media. In September 2021, Alison launched the Aisle Seat podcast, produced by The Brand Is Female. Alison is also a regular contributor to Hello! Canada, The Toronto Star and 29Secrets, and has worked on branded content projects for clients including Amazon, Michael Hill, Birks, Transat, Pandora and For Love and Narces. Alison is an entertaining and engaging speaker with a passion for style and pop culture. She has been featured as a guest expert on a variety of shows including: CityLine, BreakfastTelevision, The Morning Show, MuchMusic, BT Montreal, CTV Morning Live Vancouver, Global Montreal, ET Canada, Etalk, E!
