Paul Dini is probably best known for his work on Batman: The Animated Series, and with God of the war artist Raf Grassetti shares his realistic vision of animation Batman villains, Dini has an idea of who Arnold Wesker aka The Ventriloquist should play.

Check it out:

Knowing David’s work, I imagine he doesn’t have a lot of enthusiasm for these comic books. Then again, he looks like the old Arnold Wesker, and it would be fun to see him take on Batman at some point, even if it’s only for a short scene.

If I had to pick someone for the role, I guess I would go with someone like Brian Cox (Succession) or Jim Broadbent (Game Of Thrones); maybe even Chevy Chase (Community). If they wanted a true ventriloquist for the role, I can only think of comedian Jeff Dunham.

For now, Matt Reeves The batman is rumored to feature multiple villains, but so far we can only confirm Catwoman, Penguin, and the Riddler. While I wouldn’t expect major roles, I would love to see cameos from other rascals like Mr. Freeze, Killer Croc and, of course, Ventriloquist. What are the chances that we will meet Harvey Dent before he transforms into Two-Face?

Production is currently stopped thanks to the Coronavirus, but I hope everyone can get back to work by June. Fingers crossed, we’re getting some important updates later this month.

The batman is slated for release on June 25, 2021.
