MIAMI (CBSMiami) — A former television producer and writer who worked for the popular Univision show “El Gordo y La Flaca” is facing new charges for allegedly using his position to prey on women.

Enrique Albis-Masot, who was previously charged with two counts of sexual assault and forcible confinement, now faces a third count of sexual assault and forcible confinement.

“Every sexual assault is a degradation of the victim,” prosecutor Katherine Fernandez said.

Albis-Masot is accused of telling the women he would audition them for a role on the wildly popular show, but they needed to see him personally.

The previously charged sexual activity allegedly takes place in private “auditions” that were never cleared by the network or anyone at the television studio.
