OKLAHOMA CITY – One girl’s ventriloquist act goes viral after receiving the “Golden Buzzer” on “America’s Got Talent.”

Darci Lynne Farmer, 12, from Oklahoma City, brought her puppet, Petunia the Rabbit, to the show to play, KFOR reports.

“I saw ventriloquism for the first time in my church. Something clicked and I was like ‘I want to do this’, ”she said.

She asked her parents for a puppet to overcome shyness. On her 10th birthday, her parents surprised her with a puppet.

It was not easy. Farmer said she was nervous to go on stage because of her shyness, but following her dreams, she decided to go on the show.

“Well, that was one of my big dreams, but I’d also like to keep the ventriloquist alive because it’s not common, you know?” ” she said.

Farmer received the Golden Buzzer from Mel B, which means she makes it to live shows.

“Ventriloquism kind of helped me find my voice. It really helped me come out of my shell. My shyness is improving, ”Farmer said.

The judges praised his performance and the audience gave him a standing ovation.

“I think this bunny is a really different person. I love you. I believe you will go far. You just changed your life tonight, young lady, ”said Howie Mandel.

“We had a number at the start which was very good, but I won’t remember them in an hour. I will remember you in a week, in a month, in a year. You two are brilliant and when you have it you have it, ”said Simon Cowell.
