Reservoir signs Grammy-nominated writer-producer Nick Lee, co-producer of Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow’s hit, “INDUSTRY BABY.”
Los Angeles-born composer, writer, producer and trombonist Nick Lee is best known for his success co-producing Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow’s “INDUSTRY BABY” – he created the song’s signature horn melody. The Julliard-trained artist has collaborated with many big names, including Megan Thee Stallion, Dillon Francis, Mustard, Seventeen, Stray Kids, CL and JJ Lin. Independent music company Reservoir Media has announced a deal with Lee for his future works.
“INDUSTRY BABY” reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and Top 40 Radio and received a nomination for Best Melodic Rap Performance at the 2022 Grammy Awards. It was also nominated for Song of the Summer at the MTV Video Music Awards 2021. This huge success propelled Nick Lee to the fore as a writer and producer.
In addition to his writing and production work, Lee has also composed for television and film, composing for network television shows like NBC. Great crew and the fox Welcome to Flatch. He will also co-compose Netflix’s upcoming drama series, The Sun Brothers.
